We are seeking a motivated, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our practice. Whether you're an experienced assistant or an enthusiastic entry-level candidate eager to learn, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including restorative treatments, crowns, fillings, and other general dentistry services
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments, materials, and equipment are ready for patient care
- Take dental X-rays and digital images in accordance with certifications and regulations
- Complete patient charting, periodontal charting, and clinical documentation
- Educate patients on post-operative instructions and oral hygiene practices
- Follow OSHA and CDC infection control and sterilization guidelines
- Monitor and maintain supplies, instruments, and equipment
- Support efficient patient flow by anticipating provider needs
- Communicate professionally with patients and team members
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and positive clinical environment
Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred; motivated entry-level candidates will be considered
- Understanding of dental terminology and infection control protocols
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and eager to learn
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork
- Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with the doctor and team
Schedule
Office Hours:
- Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: Closed
- One Saturday per month
- Sunday: Closed
