    Dental Assistant – Gentle Dental Northpointe

    Full-Time | $24–$29 per hour DOE | Lynnwood, WA

    About the Role

    As a Dental Assistant at Gentle Dental Northpointe, you'll work alongside our dentists and clinical team to deliver high-quality, compassionate dental care.

    You'll play an essential role in keeping the clinical day running smoothly—from preparing treatment rooms and assisting with procedures to supporting patients throughout their appointments. We're looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to creating an excellent patient experience.

    What You'll Do

    • Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures
    • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
    • Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinical day
    • Support patients before, during, and after treatment, helping them feel comfortable and informed
    • Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
    • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
    • Take dental X-rays when appropriately certified
    • Provide patients with oral health education and post-treatment instructions
    • Collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, front office teammates, and other dental assistants
    • Contribute to a positive, organized, and team-focused work environment

    What We're Looking For

    Required Qualifications

    • Certificate from a Dental Assisting Program
    • Current healthcare provider CPR/BLS certification
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Commitment to delivering an excellent patient experience
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced dental team
    • Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail

    Expanded Functions experience or certification is a plus.

    Qualifications That May Increase Starting Pay

    We value experience and additional skills. Starting compensation may be influenced by:

    • Previous dental assisting experience
    • EFDA certification
    • X-ray certification
    • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential, when applicable
    • Bilingual Spanish skills

    Compensation

    $24–$29 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
