    Cetechs is hiring Dental Assistants to support the Orlando VA Healthcare System. If you're an experienced Dental Assistant looking for outstanding work-life balance while caring for Veterans, we'd love to hear from you.

    Schedule

    Monday-Friday

    8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    40 hours per week

    Work Locations

    Openings available at:

    • Orlando VA Medical Center (Lake Nona)
    • Lake Baldwin VA Clinic
    • Viera VA Clinic
    • Daytona Beach VA Clinic

    Some travel between locations may be required.

    Responsibilities

    As a Dental Assistant you will:

    • Assist dentists during chairside procedures
    • Prepare treatment rooms
    • Sterilize instruments
    • Perform infection control procedures
    • Take digital dental radiographs
    • Prepare dental materials
    • Maintain dental equipment
    • Assist with oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and implant procedures
    • Take impressions
    • Fabricate temporary restorations
    • Remove sutures
    • Perform coronal polishing (where authorized)
    • Educate patients regarding oral hygiene
    • Maintain accurate electronic records
    • Schedule patients and coordinate appointments
    • Ensure compliance with VA policies and infection prevention standards

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program
    • Minimum one year of chairside experience
    • Dental Radiology Certification
    • Current BLS/CPR Certification
    • Ability to pass VA credentialing and background investigation
    • Excellent communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • VA experience
    • Military healthcare experience
    • Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
    • Experience with oral surgery and implant procedures
    • Experience using CPRS or Cerner

    Physical Requirements
