CDI Oral & Facial Surgery is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Oral Surgery Assistant to join our growing team. We specialize in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, and a full range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures in a modern, technology-driven environment.

Schedule
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Occasional Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist the oral surgeon during procedures including:
- Dental implant placement
- Surgical extractions
- Wisdom teeth removal
- Bone grafting procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment
- Review and update patient medical histories and records
- Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans
- Monitor and support patients before, during, and after treatment
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Maintain OSHA, infection control, and sterilization standards
- Sterilize instruments and restock operatories
- Support efficient daily clinical operations and outstanding patient care
- Travel between all four practice locations:
- Joliet
- Plainfield
- Orland Park
- Downers Grove
Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience required
- Oral surgery experience preferred, but willing to train an exceptional candidate
- Current Dental Assistant certification (where applicable)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work calmly and professionally with surgical patients
- Experience monitoring IV sedation is a plus
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations
