General Overview

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break.

Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

  • Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
  • Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
  • Stay current with emerging dental technologies and clinical best practices to continuously improve patient care and office efficiency.
  • Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
  • Build meaningful relationships with patients to enhance their experience and promote practice loyalty.
  • Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
  • Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to support practice goals and contribute to a thriving dental practice environment.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1 year of professional experience working as a Dental Assistant

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • State-required certifications such as Radiology Certification, CPR certification, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
