Dental Assistant – Indianapolis, IN

Our prosthodontics practice in Indianapolis is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team. We’re committed to providing exceptional patient care while fostering a supportive, professional environment where our team members can thrive.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and eager to be part of a great dental team. Some dental assisting experience is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate and welcome new Dental Assistant graduates to apply!

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • Scheduled lunch breaks
  • Full-time, 4-day workweek
  • Immediate start available

Compensation

  • $17–$24 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our prosthodontist and dental team to provide excellent patient care. Responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming and assisting patients throughout their visit
  • Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring their comfort
  • Preparing and organizing instruments, equipment, and materials
  • Assisting the dentist with four-handed dentistry
  • Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment according to proper protocols
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment
  • Supporting the dental team as needed to ensure a smooth patient experience

Qualifications

  • Dental Assistant experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
  • New Dental Assistant graduates are welcome to apply
  • X-ray certification required
  • CPR certification required
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent patient care
