Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking Dental Assistants to join our exceptional civilian healthcare team supporting Naval Hospital Great Lakes in Waukegan, Illinois.

 

This is more than a dental assisting position—it’s an opportunity to play an important role in the health and readiness of new Navy recruits as they begin their military careers. Your care and expertise will help ensure these young service members are healthy, prepared, and ready for the mission ahead.

Position Highlights

• Full-Time | 40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Annual Compensation: $58,157
• $500 Sign-On Bonus after 30 days of employment
• $300 Referral Bonus
• 11 Paid Federal Holidays

Position Requirements

• Certificate or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting from a CODA-accredited program, with at least 12 months of experience within the last 36 months
• OR certification from a military dental technician/dental assistant school with at least 12 months of experience within the last 36 months
• Dental assistants trained in a dental office must have 3 years of experience and provide a letter from their current employer’s HR department documenting job duties, including dental radiography
• Radiography certification with training in radiation physics, biology, health, safety, protection, and digital radiographic processing
• At least 1 year of full-time dental assisting experience after graduation
• Dental assistants trained in a dental office must have 3 years of full-time experience
• Current BLS certification
