Highlights

Responsibilities:-Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.-Explaining office procedures before treatment to patients.-Providing quality and compassionate care to every patient before, during and after dental treatment.-Patient management during dental procedures.-Dental charting of patient's pre-existing and accurate inputting of patient progress notes.-Providing patients with post-op instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling).-Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth).-Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies and equipment.-Taking and developing x-rays, collecting and recording patient health histories.-Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.-Monitor equipment and hand piece repairs for all operatory equipment, accurate completion and follow up of repair logs.-Completion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks including autoclave testing and cleaning of traps.-Assisting with monthly supply order.-Assisting clinic with recall and treatment plan reports, when requested.-Responsible for adhering to all government and company regulations.-Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. We offer a wide range of specialties under one roof including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery using advanced, state-of-the-art equipment and scheduling technology.
