A LOOK AT YOUR DAY

At Bloomingdale Dental, our Dental Assistants are an essential part of creating a comfortable, welcoming, and positive experience for every patient.

You'll work closely with our experienced Lead Dentist and supportive team to keep appointments running smoothly and help patients feel at ease.

Your day may include:

• Providing chairside assistance during a variety of general dentistry procedures.
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient appointments.
• Supporting patient comfort and communication throughout visits.
• Following OSHA sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with digital charting.
• Helping with scheduling and light administrative responsibilities as needed.
• Working collaboratively with clinical and front office teammates.
• Jumping in wherever needed to help keep the practice running smoothly.

MEET YOUR TEAM

You'll be joining a dedicated group of dental professionals that includes:

• One Experienced Lead Dentist
• One Office Manager
• One Full-Time Front Desk Coordinator
• Two Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienists
• One Full-Time Dental Assistant
• Additional temporary hygiene support as needed

Our team is cross-trained and works together to provide excellent care while keeping the workday organized, productive, and enjoyable!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for dentistry.

• Experience providing chairside assistance with a variety of general dentistry procedures.
• Illinois dental X-ray certification preferred.
• Coronal polishing and sealant certifications preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Comfortable with dental charting, scheduling, and general computer applications.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy dental environment.
• Dependable, friendly, and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and help in different areas of the practice.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $20–$25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
• Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance for eligible full-time employees working 30+ hours per week.

YOUR WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (2 Fridays per month)
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (1 Saturday per month)
