What You’ll Do

  • Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures.
  • Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
  • Take dental X-rays and perform other functions permitted by Illinois law based on your training and credentials.
  • Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their visit.
  • Reinforce oral hygiene, treatment, and home-care instructions.
  • Follow infection-control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain organized, stocked, and procedure-ready treatment rooms.
  • Anticipate the needs of the dentist and patients to help the clinical schedule run efficiently.
  • Partner with the front office and clinical team to create a seamless patient experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Meets Illinois dental assistant requirements for assigned duties.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before starting.
  • Strong communication and patient-service skills.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to thrive in a busy dental environment.
  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to jump in and support the team.
  • Previous dental assisting experience is valued, but most importantly, we're looking for someone committed to excellent patient care.

Schedule (days/hours): Monday thru Thursday 8-5 Responsibilities:
  • Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
  • Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
  • Improving oral health, solving dental challenges and bettering smiles every day
Qualifications:
  • Meet all state specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
  • Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
     
     
Compensation: $19-$21/hour About:

Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
