About the Position
As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for our patients. You’ll work closely with the dentist and the rest of our team to help patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for throughout their visit.
Your role will include assisting with examinations, treatment planning, and dental procedures, as well as helping with certain administrative responsibilities such as scheduling appointments and checking patients out.
Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and cared for
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Review treatment plans with patients and help answer questions
- Take vital signs and accurately document medical histories
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and sterilized equipment
- Follow all infection control, health and safety regulations, and office protocols
- Assist with scheduling appointments and other administrative responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the entire team to provide an outstanding patient experience
