American Pediatric Dental Group is looking for a compassionate and experienced Bilingual Dental Assistant (Spanish-Speaking) to join our team! If you have a passion for working with children and creating positive dental experiences, we want to hear from you.
Schedule:
- Monday & Thursday: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM.
- Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during procedures and exams.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed.
- Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation.
- Provide translation services for Spanish-speaking patients and families.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a dental assistant required (pediatric experience preferred).
- X-ray certification (if required by the state).
- Spanish-speaking required to effectively communicate with patients and parents.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, patient-centered attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records is a plus.
