Salary range: $17-$24/hr
Essential Job Duties:
- Clean, sterilize, and sharpen dental instruments
- Oil and clean equipment
- Follow infection control recommendations and safety guidelines
- Demonstrate knowledge of various consents (oral surgery, papoose, endo, etc.)
- Take dental X-ray photographs; develop and mount X-ray films (including for urgent care patients)
- Prepare and file case histories and treatment records, ensuring charts are up-to-date
Requirements:
- Education: Verifiable attendance at a four-hour State Board-approved radiation seminar with certification to operate dental X-ray equipment, or student status
- Licensure: Registered in the State of Iowa with additional qualification in Radiography, along with current CPR certification
