Dental Assistant II (DA II) - Full Time
Apex Dental - Clover, SC
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour + Benefits

Apex Dental is a patient-focused family dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Assistant II (DA II)to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
  • Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
  • Take dental impressions and assist with various clinical procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Support front office operations as needed, including scheduling appointments and communicating with patients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Active Dental Assistant II (DA II) certification.
  • Current X-Ray certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Previous dental assisting experience.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
  • Experience with dental practice management software.
  • Front office or scheduling experience.
  • Experience in family, cosmetic, or restorative dentistry.
