Dental Assistant, Certified/Registered

We are seeking a versatile, energetic, and patient-focused Dental Assistant with experience in Orthodontics and Pediatrics to join our growing team. In this role, you will split your expertise between creating a fun, anxiety-free environment for our youngest patients and executing precise, high-quality orthodontic assisting. The candidate selected will work with the general Dentist who specializes in children's care as well as our Orthodontist.

Requirements:

• Experience is preferred
• Must have all certification requirements
  • Coronal polishing
  • CDA
  • Xray certified
• Patient Comfort: Welcome children and parents, explaining procedures in simple, kid-friendly terms to alleviate dental anxiety

• Procedures: Perform pediatric prophys, apply fluoride treatments, take high-quality digital radiographs (X-rays), and place sealants.

• Behavior Management: Utilize positive reinforcement and child-management techniques to ensure a safe, smooth appointment.

• General Clinical Duties:

• Sterilization: Sterilize instruments and disinfect treatment rooms strictly adhering to OSHA, CDC, and infection control guidelines
• Inventory: Keep clinical areas stocked and notify the Lead Assistant of inventory or equipment maintenance
