Overview:

 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain an efficient workflow while providing exceptional patient care.

 

Schedule

 

• 8-9 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Saturdays as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $20-26 per hour, based on experience

Duties

 

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans.
• Take X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Perform administrative tasks such as managing the inventory of dental supplies
• Possible front desk duties

Qualifications

 

• CPR Certificate
• Dental X-ray Certificate
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Minimum 1 year chairside assisting experience preferred
• Willing to travel to our sister locations in Palmdale and Palm Desert on rare occasions
