Dementia Caregiver Needed

Caring for someone living with dementia requires patience, compassion, consistency, and understanding. At Exhava Home Care, we are looking for caregivers who are committed to providing respectful and supportive care while helping clients feel safe, comfortable, and valued in their own homes.

Our team provides ongoing guidance and training to help caregivers feel confident when handling the day-to-day responsibilities of caregiving. We value caregivers who are dependable, patient, compassionate, and committed to treating every client with dignity.

As a Dementia Caregiver, you will provide personal care, companionship, and daily support while helping clients maintain as much independence as possible. Your patience and presence can bring comfort and reassurance to both clients and their families.

What You’ll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Provide behavioral support when needed
• Perform light housekeeping and errands
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Communicate updates and concerns according to the client’s care plan

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Active California HCA registration
• Recent/current TB test or chest X-ray
• Valid U.S. work authorization with valid ID/SS card
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance
