    Performs routine preventive maintenance on ASRS cranes, conveyors, pallet elevators, etc.• Performs major repairs on ASRS cranes, conveyors, pallet elevators, etc.• Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using the appropriate test equipment • Troubleshoots ASRS cranes, conveyors, pallet elevators, etc. and recommends corrective action• Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use tools and equipment carefully as instructed• Maintains accurate preventive maintenance records• Answer after hours call backs as needed• Keeps work area clean and performs housekeeping duties as required• Performs related work and other job assignments as required• Other building maintenance needs as assigned by managerEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements: 5 plus years maintenance mechanic experience on ASRS Cranes, conveyors, and pallet elevators• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical and material handling systems or combination of training/certification• Strong communication skills• Strong analytical thinking skills• Fully competent to a high degree in mechanical knowledge• Strong knowledge of various types of equipment in maintenance trade• Strong knowledge of automated pallet handling systems and ability to trouble shoot them• Successfully completed HAZMAT responder training is a plus• Ability to work with hands in mechanically oriented situations• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, as well as interpret electrical diagrams• High School Diploma or GEDPay Depends on Experience.     Physical Requirements: • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
