Summary
Responsible for managing CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) activities with key Home Depot accounts and maintaining forecast models incorporating business intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysts, and other sources.
Responsibilities
- Elevate the impact of operational targets, overall sales, and profitability or service standards through the execution of strategic initiatives, system visibility, network strategy, and long-term organization vision.
- Gather and incorporate all sources of market intelligence to produce the best possible operational forecast through internal CPFR tools and processes.
- Participate in weekly conference calls with internal and external customers to review sales forecasts and commitments.
- Facilitate weekly meetings with sales teams & customers to generate consensus forecasts (sell-out/sell-in).
- Report all necessary information for action plans, contingency plans, and to align on decision-making with Business Managers (BM), Program Managers (PM), and sales teams.
- Gather customer needs and changes in demand as proactively as possible.
- Develop a Year-Over-Year (YOY) analysis tool to compare and validate current forecasts based on promo run rates, market situations, etc.
- Participate in meetings to help look for process improvement opportunities and ways to optimize network strategy with customers.
- Share all insights related to demand shifts, such as market conditions, account-specific trends, internal promotion changes, etc.
- Use sales trends, business intelligence, market data, machine learning suggestions, and competition information shared by the customer.
- Negotiate with Business Manager/Program Manager (BM/PM) teams to acquire allocations under factory constraint situations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or a relevant field.
- 7 years of demand planning or relevant experience.
- APICS certification preferred.
- Must understand Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) to effectively manage forecasts.
- Strong written, verbal, and in-person communication skills required as this position interfaces with customers directly.
- Strong relationship builder.
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Solid business acumen.
Recruiting Range
$90,000-$120,000 USD
