Delta 13-Inch Web Converting Press Specialist

Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour (DOE)

Shift & Schedule: 1st Shift

• Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• 40 hours per week with a daily 30-minute break

A day on the press

It’s 6:00 AM in Roseville. You power up a 13-inch Delta web press and walk through your checks—stock loaded, tooling verified, web path dialed in. The first job calls for laminating and slitting; you fine-tune tension, confirm registration, and bring the line to speed. As labels roll off, you monitor print and converting quality, make on-the-fly adjustments, and document production data with precision. Between runs, you swap dies, reset for a new substrate, and keep the press clean and production-ready. Throughout the shift, you collaborate with production and quality teammates to hit targets safely and on time.

What you’ll handle

• Set up and operate a 13-inch Delta web press for label and packaging work
• Run converting processes: die cutting, laminating, slitting, and web handling
• Track machine performance, adjust parameters, and sustain throughput and quality
• Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues quickly and safely
• Verify finished goods meet all specifications and quality criteria
• Interpret production schedules, job tickets, and work instructions accurately
• Maintain complete production and material usage records
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance
• Comply with all safety procedures and production standards
• Partner with production and QA to meet deadlines

What you bring

• 2+ years of recent Delta press operation experience preferred
• Hands-on background in die cutting, laminating, slitting, and web press operations
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude with solid troubleshooting ability
• Self-directed with the ability to prioritize production needs
• Background in labels, printing, packaging, or converting preferred
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
