General Shale Inc., the nation’s leading brick and masonry materials manufacturer, is seeking a professional Delivery Truck Driver to join our distribution team in Piney Flats, TN. This is a stable, year-round opportunity delivering masonry materials to job sites throughout the region. No over-the-road travel – home every night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and safely unload masonry products at customer job sites
- Operate a forklift/Moffett to load and unload materials
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Assist with material handling and general brickyard responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum of 3 years of Class A CDL driving experience
- Flatbed driving experience required
- Forklift/Moffett experience preferred
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
