Black Swan, Inc. is looking for a delivery driver Rural Courier to service areas near Anderson, Plantersville, Richards, Willis and New Waverly Texas. Black Swan currently employs 180 employees and 145 vehicles to deliver over 10,000 packages per day across 4000 square miles of Texas.

Black Swan, Inc. is looking for a delivery driver Rural Courier to service areas near Anderson, Plantersville, Richards, Willis and New Waverly Texas. This position would be expected to load packages into their assigned vehicle and organize yout truck at the FedEx Ground location in Bryan, Texas and drive out to these locations to deliver the packages. Paid training starts at $15.00 to $17.00 per hour and is based on experience with a review/raise in 30 to 45 days. We have salaried positions open as well starting at $120 to $150/day for drivers experienced with larger vehicles. We will evaluate your experience and make you an offer based on that.

Responsibilities:

• Courier will arrive at FedEx Ground location to retrieve packages from the FedEx Ground terminal
• Safely and efficiently drive vehicle to delivery locations (businesses and residences)
• Greet customers in a friendly fashion (when applicable)
• Deliver packages in an appropriate drop-off area (e.g. front door), obliging customer requests and obtaining signatures when necessary
• Problem-solve loading and delivery issues, navigational discrepancies, and customer requests
• Other responsibilities as assigned

• Adapt quickly and efficiently to short-notice changes

Requirements:

• Driver’s license
• 21 years or older
• Be able to maneuver boxes up to 150 lbs
• Pass Background Check
• Pass Motor Vehicle Record check
• Pass a drug test
• Pass a DOT physical/Have a current MEC card for the larger trucks

Black Swan Logistics has a relationship with FedEx Ground to service their last mile delivery of packages out of 4 facilities. Bryan TX, College Station TX, Cypress TX, San Antonio, TX and Kyle TX
