Delivery Operations Director

We are looking for a driven, highly engaged leader to join our team as our Delivery Operations Director. This role will lead our Delivery and Catering business and serve as a key operational leader within the restaurant.

The right person for this role enjoys building relationships, developing people, creating organized systems, and being actively involved in daily restaurant operations. While Delivery and Catering will be the primary area of ownership, this is not a position that operates separately from the restaurant. During non-catering times, the Delivery Operations Director will be expected to actively support operations, lead the team, and help deliver an exceptional experience for both our guests and Team Members.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Catering Ownership

• Take ownership of the execution and growth of Delivery and Catering orders
• Ensure catering orders are accurate, organized, prepared on time, and delivered professionally
• Coordinate large and complex catering orders from preparation through final delivery
• Maintain strong communication between Front of House, Back of House, leadership, and delivery team members
• Build relationships with catering guests and help create repeat business
• Identify opportunities to grow our catering and delivery business
• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, accuracy, and guest communication
• Develop systems and routines that create consistent catering execution
• Train and develop Team Members involved in catering and delivery

Restaurant Operations

• Serve as an active operational leader when not executing catering responsibilities
• Support Drive Thru, Front Counter, Dining Room, and other areas of the restaurant as needed
• Lead with urgency during peak business periods
• Demonstrate strong Chick-fil-A service and hospitality standards
• Engage with Team Members and help create a positive, high-performing environment
• Coach Team Members and provide real-time feedback
• Assist leadership in maintaining operational excellence throughout the restaurant
• Be willing to step into whatever position is necessary to support the team and serve our guests

Operational Expectations

This role requires a strong understanding of Chick-fil-A operations and service. Experience with Drive Thru operations, guest hospitality, order accuracy, speed of service, and basic Chick-fil-A service standards will be important for success.

The Delivery Operations Director should be someone who is just as comfortable preparing and executing a large catering order as they are stepping into the Drive Thru, supporting a busy lunch, engaging with Team Members, or helping solve an operational challenge.
