Duties
- Safely operate vehicles to deliver products to various locations, adhering to assigned routes and schedules
- Occasionally load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing their needs
- Verify delivery accuracy, complete necessary documentation, and obtain signatures upon receipt
- Assist in warehouse organization by moving inventory and maintaining a clean workspace
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with route driving expertise
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong customer service skills with clear communication abilities
