    Job Title: Delivery Driver

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our manufacturing team. The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting finished products, raw materials, and other company goods to customers, suppliers, and company locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner. This role also assists with loading and unloading shipments, maintaining accurate delivery records, and ensuring company vehicles are properly maintained.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely operate company delivery vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and local traffic regulations.
    • Deliver products to customers according to scheduled routes and delivery timelines.
    • Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transport.
    • Verify delivery contents against packing slips, invoices, and shipping documents.
    • Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery records.
    • Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
    • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
    • Communicate delivery status, delays, or issues with the logistics or shipping department.
    • Assist with warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, inventory, and order preparation, as needed.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper handling of materials and equipment.
    • Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Previous delivery driving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
    • Ability to safely operate delivery trucks, cargo vans, or box trucks.
    • Forklift certification is a plus or willingness to obtain certification.
    • Basic math and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    Physical Requirements

    • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance.
    • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
    • Enter and exit delivery vehicles multiple times per shift.
