Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join a growing distribution team in Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for operating a box truck to deliver produce to customer locations while ensuring timely deliveries, safe driving practices, and excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in providing reliable service while safely transporting products.
Required Experience & Skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Previous box truck or delivery driving experience preferred
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently
Strong attention to safety and accountability
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
Ability to work independently and efficiently throughout delivery routes
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate a company box truck to deliver produce to customer locations safely and on time
Load and unload products while following safe lifting and handling procedures
Verify deliveries for accuracy and obtain required documentation or customer signatures
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional delivery vehicle
Follow assigned delivery routes while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
Provide courteous and professional customer service at each delivery location
Assist with additional warehouse or delivery-related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous produce, food service, or distribution delivery experience
Experience operating box trucks in a commercial setting
Familiarity with delivery documentation and route management
Strong time management and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing in and out of the delivery vehicle
Ability to work outdoors while making deliveries in varying weather conditions
Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift
Work Environment
Combination of driving, warehouse, and customer delivery environments
Frequent loading and unloading of products at customer locations
