Pump Shop Delivery DriverPosition Summary
Liberty Lift Solutions is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Pump Shop Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing and delivering pump shop products to customer locations while ensuring safe transportation, accurate documentation, and excellent professionalism. When deliveries are not scheduled, this role supports the pump shop with equipment cleaning, assembly, maintenance, and other shop operations. Pay is dependent on experience.
The ideal candidate enjoys a combination of driving, hands-on shop work, and working in a fast-paced oilfield environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare customer orders for delivery by verifying products and ensuring order accuracy.
- Safely load, unload, and transport pumps and related equipment.
- Frequently lift, carry, and move products weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Properly secure all loads prior to transport to ensure safe delivery.
- Operate company ½-ton and ¾-ton pickup trucks, regularly towing trailers.
- Navigate to customer locations, including remote oilfield lease roads, using electronic navigation systems and hand-drawn maps.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, customer lease road requirements, and safe driving practices.
- Complete delivery paperwork, electronic logs, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance when interacting with customers during deliveries.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including:
- Refueling vehicles
- Checking fluid levels and tire pressure
- Reporting maintenance or mechanical concerns promptly
Shop Support
When not making deliveries, assist with daily pump shop operations, including:
- Cleaning and steam-cleaning pumps and equipment.
- Assisting with pump assembly and disassembly.
- Operating a forklift (training/certification provided if needed).
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop and office environment.
- Professionally answering and making business phone calls.
- Assisting with inventory, shipping, receiving, and other shop duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating ½-ton and ¾-ton pickup trucks.
- Experience safely pulling and backing trailers.
- Ability to safely lift and move products weighing 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and following company procedures.
Preferred
- Three (3) or more years of oilfield experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience working with pumps or industrial equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Safely enter and exit trucks and trailers throughout the workday.
Work Environment
This position works in both a pump shop and field delivery environment. Employees may be exposed to machinery, moving equipment, noise, dust, grease, and varying weather conditions while working in an industrial setting and traveling to customer locations, including rural oilfield lease roads.
