Delivery Driver

Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering orders safely, accurately, and efficiently while bringing signature Chick-fil-A service and food to every guest they serve. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Delivery Drivers gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Deliver guest orders safely, accurately, and efficiently
• Verify order contents, delivery addresses, and special instructions before leaving the Restaurant
• Handle and transport food carefully to maintain quality and follow food safety standards
• Provide friendly, professional service with every delivery
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times
• Use navigation tools to plan routes and locate delivery destinations
• Communicate effectively with guests, Team Members, and Restaurant Leaders
• Promptly report delivery delays, order concerns, vehicle issues, or safety incidents to Leadership
• Keep delivery equipment and the vehicle used for deliveries clean and orderly
• Assist with order preparation, stocking, and other Restaurant tasks between deliveries
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Restaurant requirements
• Consistency and reliability
• Cheerful and positive attitude
• Loves serving and helping others
• Customer service oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Able to manage time and prioritize tasks
• Works well independently and in a team environment
• Comfortable using a smartphone and navigation tools
• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
• Have the ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload delivery orders
• Have the ability to sit, stand, walk, and enter and exit a vehicle throughout a shift
