The successful candidate will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and will be responsible for conducting their work in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. Position Essential Duties:
Help control and manage inventory
Inspect condition of tools and equipment and maintain check out and return log
Enforce all company rules and regulations
Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job
Communicate with Warehouse and Project Managers to ensure efficient delivery of products
Ensure the safety of all warehouse and delivery personnel
Prepare outgoing materials, parts, or products to ship to customers and vendors
Make sure that all work areas including the exterior of the branch is kept clean
Make sure that the receiving area, staging area, shelving, and aisles are organized and neat
Receive product, check quantities against packing list, and record any discrepancies. Prepare receiving reports and note any shortages or damages
Operate a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment
Make sure that all vehicles and forklifts are maintained and inspected daily
Physical inventory and cycle counting process when needed
Maintaining DOT requirements
Delivering and picking up equipment and materials to the jobsite.
Education/Experience and Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
High school diploma required
Valid SC driver’s license
Excellent problem-solving skills
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
Able to work with all levels of staff
Forklift certified is a plus
Safety Requirements:
Ensure that all safety training and certifications are up to date or scheduled.
Stay compliant with all Bonitz safety polices to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks.
Up to date knowledge of requirements for necessary equipment and training per job.
