Penmac Staffing is hiring a Delivery Driver for a wholesale distribution company in the Harrison, AR area. This is a full-time position for dependable individuals who enjoy being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a team.Requirements for the Delivery Driver
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow delivery schedules and directions
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
Delivery Driver Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company delivery vehicle along assigned routes
- Load, transport, and deliver products to customers
- Verify orders and ensure deliveries are accurate
- Assist with loading and unloading merchandise
- Obtain delivery confirmations and complete required paperwork
- Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
- Follow company procedures and all traffic and safety regulations
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements for the Delivery Driver
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
- Ability to frequently enter and exit the delivery vehicle
- Ability to load and unload products as needed
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting requirements established by the employer
Schedule and Pay
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Shift: Days
- Overtime as needed
- Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
