Delivery Driver – Full-Time & Part-Time

Pioneer Logistics is hiring dependable, safety-focused Delivery Drivers to join our team year-round.

We are located in Pontiac. Drivers report to our Pontiac delivery station each workday and deliver throughout Clarkston, Lake Orion, Oxford, Metamora, Hadley, and surrounding communities.

Pioneer Logistics is an independent Delivery Service Partner that delivers packages for Amazon. You will be employed by Pioneer Logistics, LLC—not Amazon.

Company vehicle provided. No CDL required. Paid training.

Schedule

Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

• Full-time drivers generally work 4–5 days per week
• Part-time drivers generally work 2–3 days per week
• Weekend availability is required and weekends are rotated
• Typical shifts are up to approximately 10 hours
• Typical start time is approximately 9:00–10:00 a.m.
• Route completion times vary based on route, delivery volume, traffic, weather, and other conditions
• Additional hours and overtime opportunities may be available, particularly during high-volume periods

What You'll Do

As a Delivery Driver with Pioneer Logistics, you will:

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery van
• Deliver packages to homes, apartments, businesses, and other locations
• Use a handheld delivery device for navigation and delivery information
• Load and unload packages assigned to your route
• Navigate a variety of roads and delivery areas
• Work outdoors in changing Michigan weather conditions
• Enter and exit the delivery vehicle frequently throughout the day
• Walk, climb stairs, lift, carry, and deliver packages weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Work independently while supporting the rest of the Pioneer team

This is an active, physically demanding job. Successful drivers are comfortable spending much of the day walking, lifting, carrying packages, climbing stairs, and repeatedly getting in and out of a delivery van.

The DSP manual specifically recommends giving applicants a realistic understanding of the physical demands of the position because unrealistic expectations can contribute to early turnover.

You will spend much of your day independently on the road, but you are part of a team. Our dispatch and management staff are available throughout the day, and our drivers support one another when help is needed.

Basic Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Have a valid driver's license
• Be able to safely operate a delivery van
• Be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Be willing and able to work the schedule agreed upon during the hiring process
• Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Previous delivery experience is preferred but not required.

Paid Training & Growth

No previous delivery experience is necessary.

New drivers receive paid training and begin with a gradual ramp-up designed to help them become comfortable with the vehicle, technology, delivery process, and physical demands of the position.
