Responsibilities:- Greet and assist customers at the deli counter and cash register with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Process customer transactions accurately using a POS/cashier system
- Prepare and craft specialty coffee and espresso beverages as a barista
- Assist with deli food prep including catering, portioning, and assembling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the deli and prep areas
- Stock and replenish deli cases, condiments, and coffee supplies as needed
- Follow food safety and handling guidelines at all times
Requirements:- Previous experience in a deli, food service, cashier, or barista role preferred
- Basic cash handling and POS system experience a plus
- Knowledge of espresso drinks and coffee preparation is a bonus
- Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
