Deli Associate

What You'll Do

Slice deli meats and cheeses to order, following food safety and portion guidelines

Prepare fresh food items for the deli case, including salads, sandwiches, and daily specials

Stock, rotate, and merchandise deli and bakery cases to keep them full and appealing

Assist with bakery items — stocking, packaging, and maintaining freshness standards

Greet and serve customers at the deli counter, answering questions and taking orders

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in accordance with health codes

Support general store operations and teammates as needed

What We're Looking For

Required:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Experience or comfort with slicing meats/cheeses (training provided)

Willingness to learn food prep and bakery tasks

Comfortable stocking and rotating product

Friendly, customer-first attitude

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-40 lbs

Reliable and able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends

Preferred:

Prior deli, bakery, or grocery experience

Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one)

Schedule

Both full-time and part-time positions are available. We're happy to talk through scheduling during the interview.
