Our client is seeking a hands-on Electrical Test Engineer to support product testing, qualification, and validation activities within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This individual will play a key role in ensuring electrical products meet performance, quality, and customer requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across production and engineering functions.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain electrical test procedures for production and qualification testing.
- Design and support test fixtures, test setups, and automated testing systems.
- Perform functional, diagnostic, and environmental testing on electrical products and assemblies.
- Troubleshoot product failures and support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Analyze test data and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Support new product introduction activities through test strategy development and validation.
- Maintain test equipment calibration and compliance with quality standards.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering teams to improve product testability and reliability.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and qualification testing activities.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical testing, manufacturing engineering, or test engineering.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, troubleshooting, insulation resistance testing, and HiPot testing.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other electronic test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with root cause analysis methodologies.
- Exposure to automated test systems and programming tools such as LabVIEW or Python is preferred.
- Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 or AS9100 is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, soldering, prototyping, or similar laboratory/manufacturing activities is highly desirable.
