Description
AJ Foods Inc is a rapidly expanding restaurant operator in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania looking to hire an Operations Technology Technician to add to our Technology Department. This is a great entry-level opportunity for a recent college student or someone looking to embark on a technology career.
Responsibilities
- Hardware Troubleshooting & Reload of Software
- Install/Replace OS images for POS devices
- Install/Replace POS equipment and Network equipment
- On-site & Remote Tech Support
- Audio/Video Install/Support
- Skilled Mounting and Drilling. (ex. neatly mount POS devices on the wall)
- Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled.
- MUST HAVE reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- High School degree or higher
- 1-2 years technical support experience.
- A+ Certification required.
- Recent/relevant experience in the fields of IT, Windows Network technology
- Point-of-Sale Systems experience.
- Familiarity with all common networking services.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and end users.
- Independent thinking and effective time management.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative and analytical thinker / problem solver.
- Team player with a positive attitude, willing and able to meet agreed-upon goals.
- Ability to work in multiple environments (both physically on site as well as remotely).
