Dedicated Local Driver - ASA

Dedicated truck drivers are a vital part of customer relations and are responsible for ensuring that our customers' freight is delivered on time and damage-free. Dedicated drivers will conduct multiple stops per day while interacting with customers. Drivers will be required to maneuver freight as needed. This hands-on, day-shift position is ideal for those who demonstrate great customer skills and have mastered local traffic routes.

Job details:

• $.81 per mile

• Consistent Routes to NV, CO, and NM.The dedicated driverwill average 2500 miles per week

• No loading/unloading

• Home on Thursdays and Weekends

Job Responsibilities

• Transport freight in safe and prompt manner

• Interact with our clients and customers in a professional and courteous manner with limited supervision

• Comply with Department of Transportation regulations and laws

• Maintain responsibility for safety and security of company equipment and customer goods

• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, either individually or with the assistance of a co-worker, with or without mechanical freight handling equipment, as required.

• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts, and tally sheets.

• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including cranking levers to raise and lower landing gear.

• Fuel trucks and tractors.

• Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license

• Experience in commercial driving and tractor-trailer operation

• Moffett Expereince prefered

• Familiarity with route driving and loading/unloading procedures
