The Decision Support Analyst will support finance and operations teams by analyzing business performance, troubleshooting data, and developing insights that improve decision-making. The position is responsible for analyzing and validating financial and operational data, identifying discrepancies, and translating findings into clear, actionable insights.The analyst will partner with Finance Business Partners and operational stakeholders to understand performance, investigate variances, and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with large, messy, or incomplete datasets.This position is well suited to someone who is intellectually curious, persistent in resolving complex issues, and comfortable turning ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance Business Partners and operational teams to analyze performance and support business decisions.
• Build and maintain components of budgeting, forecasting, and financial models.
• Analyze, validate, and troubleshoot financial and operational data across multiple systems.
• Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes.
• Develop and maintain accurate, user-friendly dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
• Perform variance and root cause analysis to explain performance drivers.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.
• Deliver clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting processes, and automation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Two to five years of experience in analytics, finance, or a related role.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to work with large, messy, or incomplete datasets.
• Experience conducting root cause and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain analysis clearly.
• Intellectual curiosity and persistence when investigating unclear issues.
