Position Summary

We are seeking a Hand Finisher / Deburr Technician to support aerospace manufacturing operations. This role focuses on preparing metal parts and castings for further finishing by grinding, sanding, cleaning, breaking edges, and deburring to required specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Hand finish and deburr a wide variety of metal parts and castings for the aerospace industry
• Use hand and power tools to grind, sand, clean, break edges, and deburr parts in preparation for further finishing processes

Knowledge & Abilities

• Ability to use basic deburring and hand-finishing tools, including:
  • Right-angle grinders
  • Die grinders
  • Orbital sanders
  • Air pens (manual and power)
• Knowledge and proper use of calipers and torque wrenches

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 0–3 years of hand finishing experience preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend English preferred
• Aerospace experience is required

Physical Requirements

• Steady hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to twist and turn upper body as required
• Close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus required
• Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
