    Position Overview

    This role is responsible for leading production operations while maintaining safety, quality, productivity, and team performance. The supervisor ensures production goals are met, staffing levels are adequate, equipment is operating efficiently, inventory is managed correctly, and company policies are communicated and enforced.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure daily production schedules and customer orders are fulfilled.
    • Lead and supervise production team members.
    • Maintain a safe work environment and promote safety initiatives.
    • Oversee production start-up activities and staffing assignments.
    • Monitor product quality and USDA compliance requirements.
    • Ensure proper inventory rotation, coding, and shipment accuracy.
    • Train, coach, counsel, and develop team members.
    • Maintain production records and documentation.
    • Partner with other supervisors to resolve operational issues.
    • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Additional vocational training, certifications, or college coursework preferred.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
    • Ability to supervise and motivate a team performing similar production tasks.
    • Ability to travel occasionally (1–5 trips annually).
