Dealership Customer Service Specialist - Hall Mazda

Job Description

Hall Mazda in Virginia Beach has a busy service deparment, and we are looking for a customer service specialist, familiar with dealership operations, to step in and help us elevate our service department customer experience.

The schedule for this role will be 9AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays will be required. Position will pay $15.00/hour.

Summary:

The Customer Service Specialist will work closely with the Service Manager, service advisors, and the sales department as needed, to develop and execute processes that will allow us to elevate our customer experience.

Essential Duties:

• Monitor daily and weekly CSI scores and manufacturer survey responses and report metrics to department managers
• Contact customers who left negative or neutral feedback or missed service visits. Listen with empathy, address complaints and work to turn negative experiences around
• Coordinate with Service Manager to offer practical resolutions or service adjustments
• Share customer feedback appropriately with department managers to prevent recurring issues
• Log all activity, customer interactions, outcomes, and follow-up actions in CRM daily, including updates to CDK as appropriate
• Deliver a customer experience that builds trust, loyalty, and repeat business
• Support overall dealership growth, retention, and customer satisfaction goals
• Demonstrate commitment to professional conduct, ethics, and compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Automotive customer-facing experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Results-driven mindset with high accountability
• Professional presence, strong ethics, and customer-first attitude
• Proficiency in CRM/DMS systems and digital communication tools
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills
