About Us: Certified Home Nursing Solutions LLC (CHNS) provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities who are residents of Wicomico County, Somerset County, Worcester County, Dorchester County, Caroline County, Talbot County, Cecil County, Queen Anne’s County, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, and Hartford County. CHNS offers Day Habilitation to individuals who reside in Wicomico County, Somerset County, and Worcester County. CHNS supports individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and independence while integrating within their communities. We provide services and programs to assist with increasing their quality of life.

Job Summary: The DDA Manager is responsible for overseeing the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) services, ensuring compliance with regulations as outlined in COMAR 10.22.02. This position involves managing programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, advocating for their needs, and ensuring the delivery of quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Administration:

o Oversee the administration and management of DDA programs in compliance with COMAR 10.22.02.

o Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with federal, state, and local regulations.

o Ensure the quality and effectiveness of services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities.

2. Compliance Management:

o Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to developmental disabilities.

o Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate program effectiveness and adherence to COMAR guidelines.

o Revise policies and programs as necessary to remain compliant with changing regulations.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration:

o Collaborate with government agencies, service providers, families, and advocacy groups to enhance service delivery and promote community integration.

o Facilitate communication and coordination among various stakeholders to improve outcomes for individuals served by the DDA.

4. Staff Supervision and Development:

o Hire, train, and supervise staff involved in the delivery of DDA services.

o Foster a supportive and engaging work environment that promotes professional development and continuous improvement.

o Implement training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about regulations, policies, and best practices in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

5. Data Management and Reporting:

o Collect, analyze, and report data related to program outcomes, service utilization, and client satisfaction.

o Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, including government entities and funding agencies.

o Utilize data to inform decision-making and to advocate for additional resources or program enhancements.

6. Budget Management:

o Assist in the development and management of budgets for DDA programs, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

o Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, public administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

? Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, particularly in developmental disabilities or related services.

? Strong knowledge of COMAR regulations, especially 10.22.02, and best practices in serving individuals with developmental disabilities.

? Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

? Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and promote a positive organizational culture.

? Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

? Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
