Job Responsibilities: - Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls from the public and law enforcement agencies. - Dispatch appropriate police units and security guards to incidents and ensure timely response. - Monitor and operate multiple communication systems, including radios, telephones, computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems, and CCTV cameras. - Maintain accurate records of all communications and dispatch activities. - Provide real-time information and support to field officers, including background checks and warrant information. - Coordinate with other emergency services and departments as necessary. - Follow established protocols and procedures for handling various types of incidents. - Perform regular checks of equipment and report any malfunctions or issues. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. - Maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations. - Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information. - Provide support in crisis situations, including mass casualty incidents, natural disasters, and all other emergencies.
