Job Title: Dayforce HRIS Analyst
Location: Fairfield, NJ 07004 (3 Days/Week (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 6 months (Temp only - timeframe subject to change based on individual's performance & business needs)
Pay Range: $65.00/hr. to $70.00/hr. on W2
Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card only
 
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
Position Overview:

• Our client is seeking a hands on Dayforce HRIS Analyst to support and improve their Dayforce environment. This role will work closely with Payroll and HR to maintain system configurations, implement business and union related changes, address existing system issues, and improve the overall functionality and reliability of Dayforce.
• The ideal candidate has strong hands on experience with Dayforce configuration and administration, particularly in a payroll environment.
• This is a highly hands on role focused on system configuration, setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Dayforce based on payroll and HR business requirements (Modules – Payroll & WFM)
• Support and update union related changes within Dayforce for 20+ unions
• Configure and maintain pay codes, time off policies, and time and attendance settings
• Perform configuration cleanup, system update changes, and ongoing maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-to-Dayforce integrations and file feeds, in partnership with the HRIS team
• Investigate data and system issues and coordinate solutions with Payroll, HR, and other stakeholders
• Own testing and validation of all configuration changes Document configurations, processes, and changes

• Identify opportunities to improve the Dayforce environment and overall payroll processes
• Provide ongoing production support for Dayforce related issues and requests

 
Skills:
Qualifications

• Hands on experience configuring and administering Dayforce
• Strong understanding of payroll and HR processes within an HRIS environment
• Experience configuring union agreements and union payroll requirements including complex pay rules, multiple bargaining units, and union reporting
• Experience with pay codes, time off, time and attendance, and payroll configuration
• Experience troubleshooting and fixing HRIS integrations and file feeds
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work directly with Payroll and HR stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into system configurations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting union populations and/or union payroll requirements
• Workday experience, particularly Workday-to-Dayforce integrations
• Experience working in a multi system HRIS environment
• Experience supporting a large, multi-union workforce
