The Dog Stop South LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a passionate and organized Daycare Manager to lead our team and ensure every tail is wagging! Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the dog daycare facility to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Supervise, train, and schedule daycare staff to maintain high standards of pet care
- Monitor dog behavior and playgroups, ensuring proper temperament assessments and safe interactions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pet owners through excellent customer service
- Manage facility inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation protocols
- Track and report on key performance metrics including attendance, revenue, and staff performance
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a pet care, animal services, or daycare management role preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of dog behavior, breeds, and basic animal first aid
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a dynamic, hands-on environment
- Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and client communication
