About the Role:Luma Learning Center in Woodstock, GA is looking for a passionate and experienced Daycare Director to lead our team and inspire the next generation of learners. Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations of the childcare facility, ensuring a safe and structured learning environment
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise early childhood educators and support staff
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood development standards
- Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations, health codes, and safety protocols
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families through open communication and family engagement initiatives
- Manage center budget, enrollment, and administrative functions
- Conduct staff evaluations, professional development planning, and performance management
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a childcare or early education leadership role
- Knowledge of Georgia childcare licensing requirements and DECAL regulations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff, budgets, and center operations effectively
- Warm, professional demeanor with a genuine passion for child development
