Day Shift Hospitalist – Advanced Practice Provider (Acnp or Pa)

DAY SHIFT HOSPITALIST - ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (ACNP or PA)

Texas Health Physicians Group is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team at Texas Health HEB. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a strong hospitalist group providing high-quality inpatient care.

Position Details:

• Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&Ps, and follow-up visits
• Initiate appropriate testing and treatment for medical conditions
• Perform history and physical examinations for new admissions
• Round on rehabilitation and long-term acute care patients
• Document patient care in the EMR system
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives

Schedule:

• Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• 7 days on / 7 days off

Qualifications:

• Texas licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• ACLS certification (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP, PA, or RN in ICU/CVICU
• Strong skills in:

  • Active listening and reading comprehension
