The Arc Ontario Story:Founded in 1954 we believe that All individuals with disabilities or other challenges are one with their community.ResponsibilitiesPerforms a variety of staff management functions, including, but not limited to, recruitment, orientation and training, direct supervision, scheduling, performance evaluation, etc. Meets regularly with staff under direct supervision to discuss performance, service delivery and program planning.Responsible for ongoing supervision of staff associated with Day Hab ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to the satisfaction of the participant.Works closely with other management staff in overseeing the individual program planning process, including maintenance of records, to ensure appropriate provision of service and financial compliance. Ensures that plans and services are individualized, and designed to promote independence, integration and productivity, working closely with individuals, staff and other service providers. Attends team meetings, as needed.RequirementsBA/BS Degree in Human Services Field. Over three (3) years' experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
