Cosentino's New Mark Sunfresh #156 is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Day Clerk to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our valued customers and maintaining the efficient operation of our store. The Day Clerk will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including customer service, stocking, and maintaining store presentation, all while demonstrating a strong commitment to dependability and a self-starter attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with inquiries and product location.
- Receive, unload, and stock merchandise accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure product rotation is maintained to guarantee freshness and minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including aisles, shelves, and checkout areas.
- Operate a pallet jack safely and effectively for moving inventory.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding stock levels and customer needs.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout.
- Respond to customer needs and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate a self-starter approach to identifying and completing tasks without constant supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
- General knowledge of retail operations and stocking procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weight, and operate a pallet jack.
- Working knowledge of basic math for transaction processing.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
