Established in 1988 and located in the heart of downtown Sacramento, Dawson's Steakhouse has been a local favorite for over a quarter of a century and is considered one of the best restaurants in Sacramento. Dawson's serves farm-to-fork cuisine sourced locally and seasonally to reflect the richness of the Sacramento Valley. From fresh seafood to California beef, Dawson's Steakhouse offers a contemporary twist of steakhouse classics and some bold originals. Enjoy fresh, local food, craft cocktails, and exceptional service for an unforgettable dining experience at our landmark, AAA Four Diamond Sacramento restaurant.

Restaurant servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment. If you have experience as a server in a restaurant, we'd love to hear from you!

This is an hourly position with a compensation of $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule for PM shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Strong hospitality skills and working knowledge of fine dining steps of service
• Proficiency with wine, spirits and cocktails
• Must have at least 3 years of Serving experience in a fine-dining setting or equivalent.
