Job Title: Supply Chain Project CoordinatorJob Description

The Supply Chain Project Coordinator supports multiple Major Product Introduction (MPI) and New Product Introduction (NPI) programs by driving supply chain activities from product release through implementation. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, monitors project milestones, tracks supplier readiness, and ensures all supply chain deliverables are completed on time to enable successful program launches. The position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to complex, business-critical programs while gaining broad exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations and developing project management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned MPI and NPI projects from initial release through full implementation, ensuring all supply chain activities are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, purchasing, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to align project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Pull and analyze reports to monitor project status, identify issues, and provide clear updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure purchase orders are issued accurately and on time to support supplier lead times and production requirements.
  • Track Bill of Material (BOM) readiness and component releases to confirm materials availability for builds and launches.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and build readiness reviews to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and risk items, escalating concerns and driving corrective actions as needed.
  • Support PPAP and supplier quality readiness activities to ensure components meet required standards prior to implementation.
  • Develop and implement mitigation plans for identified supply chain risks, helping to maintain schedule and quality targets.
  • Drive execution in a fast-paced environment with compressed project timelines, maintaining strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate and track multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and managing deadlines across programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues, remove roadblocks, and support smooth product introductions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and project records to support transparency and effective decision-making.

Essential Skills

  • 1-3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, materials, operations, manufacturing, or project management.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution of multiple initiatives.
  • Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage details across complex projects.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple functional groups, including engineering, purchasing, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through to ensure tasks and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes, including RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier management.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment, supporting production and implementation activities.
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including materials planning and supplier readiness.
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI/MPI) programs.
  • Familiarity with PPAP and supplier quality processes.
  • Ability to identify supply chain risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working with internal enterprise systems and legacy interfaces ("blue screens") and related internal processes.
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Conformance Index (SCCI) or similar supply chain performance metrics.
  • Exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations, from sourcing through production and implementation.
  • Ability to develop and refine project management and supply chain leadership skills within a high-visibility program environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships with cross-functional partners.
  • Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with aggressive implementation schedules.

Work Environment

This role operates in a manufacturing-focused environment that supports complex operations and product introduction programs. The work is fast-paced and deadline-driven due to aggressive implementation schedules, requiring strong focus and responsiveness. You will collaborate heavily with supply chain, purchasing, quality, engineering, and production teams through frequent project meetings, status reviews, and build readiness sessions. The position is primarily computer-based, utilizing Excel, reporting tools, and internal systems to track projects, analyze data, and manage deliverables. You will independently own project deliverables while engaging regularly with stakeholders across the organization, working in a setting that emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.00/hr.
